Enter a scale factor or viewport and choose a font to create a dimstyle.

Scott sends us a routine for creating scale-based dimension styles. This routine is designed to work in metric drawings, but the code can easily be adapted for imperial scales. Load the LISP file, then start the routine by typing CDS at the Command line. If you are in model space, you should enter a scale factor. In you are in a layout, you can either enter a scale factor or select a viewport, and the scale of the viewport will be used. Next, choose a font for the dimstyle, and you're done.
