Tip contributor Mike Thorne sent this tip for setting up customized parts lists in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

"Customized parts lists can be created by first defining the default feature settings for the pipe networks, then creating a complete parts list. This applies the desired styles, rules, etc., to each part individually. The complete parts list can then be renamed, and have parts removed if necessary."

Notes from Cadalyst Tip Reviewer Brian Benton: The trick to using Civil 3D is getting your styles and parts the way you want them. Once they are created, just apply them accordingly to the proper objects.
