Do you content center? Have you ever wanted to add a content center part in Autodesk Inventor and then modify that part for just that instance? This tip will show you how to add custom content center to your models.

• While in an assembly, use the Place from Content Center command.

• Find the part you want to add from Content Center, and select it.

• Select the As Custom option.

• Using the Save As dialog box, Rename the file and locate the directory you want to file to be in.

• You now have a part that is a copy of the content center part. You can now modify this part without affecting the content center part.
