Kevin “The CADiator” Mukbel sends a tip on dealing with the interface changes the Ribbon brings us in AutoCAD. "Hello CAD users. In AutoCAD 2009 (AutoCAD 2010) and several of its vertical products, by default there are no pull-down menus. It is all 'Ribbonized.' But if you really would like to get your pull-down menus back, you can type Menubar on the command line and turn it to 1 and you shall have your pull-down menus again.

"HAPPY CAD-ing."

NOTES FROM CADALYST TIP PATROL: The Menubar comes turned off out of the box. However, you can turn it back on if you want to use it. The new commands are included in it, along with the old. You can choose to turn the Menubar on and the Ribbon off, like in the old days. Or you can leave them both on. That way you can give the Ribbon a chance while still having access to a more familiar interface.
