Use your mouse to quickly move or copy a Layout tab.

You can use the mouse to simplify the process of moving or copying a Layout tab in AutoCAD. Point the mouse arrow on the desired Layout tab and use the pick button to drag the Layout tab to the desired place along the Layout bar. Now if you drag it while pressing the Ctrl key, you will get a copy of the layout. Otherwise you just move the Layout tab. Nice and easy.

Notes from Cadalyst Tip Patrol: Great tip. Sometimes you need to rearrange your tabs. This is the easiest way to do it. The tip was tested successfully in AutoCAD 2009 but has been available for a while. You cannot move or copy the Model tab, only Layout (paper space) tabs.
