If you open a drawing and see this type of ucs icon

To change it back to the normal view ucs icon

Go to the upper left hand corner of your drawing screen and change it from whatever setting it's set to, to 2D Wireframe

Or the type in command is _vscurrent select 2D Wireframe from the command options listed

Notes from Cadalyst tip review R.K. McSwain: Unless you know you should be working in a special visual style, many times, NOT being in 2D wireframe mode can cause all kinds of "issues." One of those is the special 3D Ucs icon as shown here. Although that in itself won't hurt anything, the more complex visual style could cause things to run slower than normal while you work.
