AutoCAD 2015 introduced the new tab page that by default appears when you start a new drawing. Using this tip, you can revert back to the way previous versions worked.

Some autoCAD users like the new tabbed drawing feature but do not like the new Tab page and would rather open to a new drawing when the plus button is selected. This can be achieved by simply changing the NEWTABMODE system variable.
