Frequent tipster Leonid Nemirovsky gives a quick AutoCAD tip about using shortcut menus.
"If you are not using running osnaps, then use this trick. Hold Ctrl (or Shift) and right-click the mouse button. A dialog box with all of the osnap options will pop up at your current crosshair location."
Notes from Cadalyst Tip Patrol: The box will indeed appear — as long as your settings are right. To toggle this right-click feature, open the Options dialog window (type OP on the Command line). Go to the User Preferences tab and click the Right-Click Customization button. Make sure the Shortcut menus are turned on, or turn on time-sensitive right-click. These right-click shortcut menus can be a real time-saver. |
