This routine will give you the weight of a selected 3D object in terms of various materials.

This LISP routine from Dean Culver will give you the weight of a selected 3D object in terms of various materials. After selecting the 3D object in AutoCAD, an alert box will appear from which you can select the desired material. When the alert box is cleared, the same information is copied to the Command line for easy copying and pasting. The calculations for each material are easily found in the LISP code for verification and/or adding your own new materials.
