Shiddramesh Kankanameli brings us a routine for drawing metric thread schematics in AutoCAD. This is an easy routine to use. Start by loading the LISP file, then run the command TAP. Enter the thread size first in millimeters (such as 10), then enter the thread pitch (such as 1.25), then enter the drill depth and tap depth. Tap depth should be less than drill depth. The last prompt is for an insertion point. Colors are hard-coded but can easily be changed to meet your needs. Thanks, Shiddramesh.
