Have you ever added a dimension that does not fit in between other dimensions and wanted to add a leader and pull the dimension away from its placed location? This tip will show you an easy way to accomplish that task in Autodesk Inventor.

• Place a dimension on a view.

• Right-click on the dimension, under the Options flyout menu, select Leader.

• Select the dimension and drag it into place. (Hint: If you want to later remove the dimension, right-click and unselect Leader.)
