If you wanted to thaw a layer in AutoCAD, but were not sure of the layer name, it might take you a few steps to figure it out. This routine from Raymond Rizkallah simplifies those steps. It will thaw all frozen layers temporarily, and ask you to pick objects on the layers you want to remain thawed. Then when you are done, the previous layer state is restored, except for the layers you selected. Start by loading the LISP file, then type in the command LUH. Raymond recommends use of this routine with xrefs. |
