Mary E. Kipp shares a way to output your AutoCAD drawing or file to an image format with just a few steps.
"Want to create an image from your AutoCAD file? Type in JPGout or BMPout at the Command line and you are on your way!"
Notes from Cadalyst Tip Patrol: You can also type WMFout to output to a WMF file, or TIFout for a TIF file. If you want to get some of your linework into an e-mail quickly, just select your objects, press Ctrl+C to copy to the Windows Clipboard, and press Ctrl+V to paste them. This also works in Word, Excel, etc. These commands are very easy to use and very quick; however, the images they produce are not always the best quality. If you need something quick and easy, this is your tip. |
