Leonid Nemirovsky of the Better Than Nothing AutoLISP site sends us a tip that can help you edit your dimensions with a quick right-click in AutoCAD.
"All you have to do is select the dimension you want to edit. Then, right-click and there are a bunch of options for modifying dimensions without getting into a dialog box. The options are: Dim Text Position, Precision, Dim Style, and even Flip Arrows." Notes from Cadalyst Tip Patrol: These options are there for a quick edit. Most of them are self-explanatory. The Dim Text Position will let you adjust the position of the dimension text. Precision changes how many decimals your dimension text displays. Dim Style will let you change the style used for that dimension. Finally, the Flip Arrows option changes the orientation of the dimension arrows. It will flip them from one side of the dimension line to the other. |
