Amir Sattarian has created a routine to easily redefine the insertion point of a block. A positive feature of this routine is that existing insertions of the block are not moved, even though the insertion point is changed. After you load the LISP file, run the command BP, then select an existing block. A rubber-band line will be drawn from the old insertion point to the cursor while waiting for you to select the new insertion point. After you pick the new point, all existing blocks are updated and left in their place. A sample drawing is included here also. |
