Have you ever wanted to open the IDW or DWG of an Autodesk Inventor part? Or vice versa?

In Autodesk Inventor, have you ever wanted to open the IDW or DWG of a part while you are in the part? Or have you ever wanted to open the part when in the IDW or DWG?

  • While in a part (in this case 507-213.idw), right-click and select Open Drawing.

  • If you are in the drawing and you want to open the part, right-click in the region of one of the views and choose Open.
