Frequent contributor Mat Kirkland is back with a nice LISP routine. If you are familiar with the Layer Isolate command in AutoCAD, you know that you can pick one or more objects to isolate those layers on the screen. But with the regular process, if you select an object in an xref, you’re really selecting the entire xref and the layer it resides on. Mat's routine, in contrast, allows you to select one or more objects inside of an xref and isolate those layers by turning off all other xref layers. It doesn’t affect the layers in the main parent drawing. |
