Many users don’t know (or have forgotten) the difference between Regen and Regenall. Regen works on the current space, and Regenall updates both modelspace and paperspace.

We use custom drawing properties in both modelspace and paperspace blocks, so selecting Regen in Options/User Preferences/Fields/Field Update Settings dialog box ensures that fields update on Regen. Setting system variable Fieldeval to 31 selects all the check boxes.
