Just to clarify: It toggles the on/off [suppression] state of the extension line closeR [not closeD] to the point at which you select a linear or angular Dimension, to the opposite of its current state. You can select on ANY part of the Dimension object -- an extension line [if you're toggling it off -- obviously you'll have to pick somewhere else if you want to toggle it on!], a dimension line, an arrowhead, or the text.
