How to use the Centerline Bisector command to show the center lines of a slot.

When you are dimensioning a drawing with a slot, do you need to show the center lines of the slot and not the radii?

  • Under the Annotate Tab, pick Centerline Bisector.

  • Pick both nodes at the quadrants of the slot as shown below.

  • This will create a center line between the two nodes of the slot. Do the same thing for both flats of the slot; this will create a center line between the two lines. This gives you center line of the slot that you can now dimension to.
