This tip helps when you add a dimension to an isometric drawing only to discover you want it aligned to different edge or axis.

Here is a tip to help with dimensioning an isometric drawing. Have you ever added a dimension to an isometric only to want it aligned to another edge or axis?

  • Add a dimension to an isometric drawing. Assure that the align option is picked.

  • Before placing the dimension, hit the space bar. You can now toggle between to possible alignments for this dimension.
