Cadalyst tip reviewer Brian Benton shares a tip for customizing your AutoCAD palettes.
“AutoCAD has all sorts of palettes: tool palettes, the Properties palette, the Sheet Set Manager — even the command line is a palette. All of them can be docked, hidden, added, toggled on and off, and placed anywhere you want them on your screen. Once you get them where you want them, save the workspace to save their location. If you ever move them by accident or try moving them to a better location but aren’t happy with it, you can easily move them back by reloading the saved workspace.” |
