Dave submitted three routines that he uses for assistance when working in drawings with mixed imperial and metric measurements. The first, named MetHole, allows you to draw a circle in an imperial drawing by specifying the diameter in millimeters. The other two routines enable you to specify alternate units for the Offset command: With Mios, you can specify millimeters while in an imperial drawing, and Mios2 allows you to specify inches while in a metric drawing. To use these functions, load the LISP file and start the desired command by entering one of the names specified above. Dave's code is a good starting point for creating your own conversion routines for other tools in AutoCAD. |
