Use imperial units in metric drawings and vice versa.

Dave submitted three routines that he uses for assistance when working in drawings with mixed imperial and metric measurements. The first, named MetHole, allows you to draw a circle in an imperial drawing by specifying the diameter in millimeters. The other two routines enable you to specify alternate units for the Offset command: With Mios, you can specify millimeters while in an imperial drawing, and Mios2 allows you to specify inches while in a metric drawing. To use these functions, load the LISP file and start the desired command by entering one of the names specified above. Dave's code is a good starting point for creating your own conversion routines for other tools in AutoCAD.
