Command name: BAL. Asks user to select Arc, Line or Polyline, and specify
width of insulation.
On Line or Polyline line segment, draws series of Arcs & Lines, Pedits them
into Polyline loops, then Pedits them all into one; always on left side
relative to drawing direction. Undo reverses overall Pedit, then last-loop
Pedit, then undoes one Arc/Line at a time, and so on. Loops touch each
other. Overshoots end for trimming as required. On Polyline, does only
along selected line segment.
On Polyline arc segment, sometimes fails, but if not, draws along first
line segment instead, or even free-floating if Polyline is all arc
segments.
On Arc, offers inside/outside choice, draws/Pedits one loop as on Line,
Arrays it and Groups them together. User must specify how many loops,
which are spaced along entire length of Arc, not in relation to each other.
Alignment of base of loops against Arc is tangent at one side, so other
side is off.
Width must be specified each time (no default). Requires pre-existing
drawing entity for selection.
