Use the CleanScreenON command to free up screen real estate.

Sometimes I need to show people a CAD image on my computer. I use the CleanScreenON command to hide the ribbon and toolbars from view and free up more drawing space. You can toggle CleanScreenON and CleanScreenOFF by pressing Ctrl+0 (it must be the zero key on the keyboard above the letters; the numeric keypad will not execute the command).

Additionally, for presentation purposes, I press the Alt key once and it turns the cursor into an arrow instead of the crosshairs.

Notes from Cadalyst tip reviewer R.K. McSwain: A lot of people love Clean Screen mode. It reduces AutoCAD down to the title bar, the status bar, and the rest is drawing area. Check it out if you haven't. You may find that you love it, too.

Sweet! Thanks for the reminder and I did not know about the ALT = Arrow. Your tip is appreciated.
