This AutoCAD routine by Ramakrishna Acharya allows you to insert sequentially numbered blocks. The supplied block is a circle with a number in the center. After you load the LISP file, type in the command ALOT to get started. It will ask you for the starting number, after which you pick an insertion point. From this point, simply keep picking points and the routine will keep inserting blocks, incrementing the number each time. If you start with one of two digits and then get to number 100, the block size is increased to accommodate the larger string. Tip 2043 by Heather Randles is a similar routine, except it also includes a leader. |
