This tip will show you how to reorient a crooked part view in Autodesk Inventor.

Create a new work plane.

Select Look At and pick the edge on the created work plane.

Part reoriented and ready to create a DWG view.

Done!

what about assemblies? my main problem is when i need to make a change to an assembly and the parts start flying all over the place. getting them back to normal (not crooked) is quite a task.
