This tip explains how to create an isometric section view in Autodesk Inventor.

Copy and paste view.

Create a sketch.

Break out the From Point or select other depth options.

Select Section Participation for parts that will not be included in the section.

Create an isometric view from breakout view and suppress the breakout view.

Done!
