This tip explains how to constrain a sequence from one part or assembly to another in Autodesk Inventor.

Sometimes you need to constrain sequence frpm one part or assembly to another.

Select first part or assembly (in this case, the bolt) to insert constrain to washer. Then select the washer to constrain to. The bolt jumps to washer.




To make the washer constrain to the bolt, first select the washer and then the bolt. Washer constrains (jumps) to bolt.
