Here's how to show the threads in an Autodesk Inventor 2D drawing with a threaded feature.

Have you ever had an Autodesk Inventor 2D drawing with treaded features and wanted to show the threads in the drawing? This tip shows you how to add a thread.

  • Open a 2D drawing that has a threaded feature.

  • Right-click the view, select Edit View, and go to the Display Options tab.

  • Check the Thread Feature option.

  • Note the added lines in the view. You can now add a thread note.
