Delete duplicate objects, including lines.

Engineer Robert Moore has a tip for using AutoCAD's Overkill command to manage file objects.

"The AutoCAD command Overkill is especially helpful when you import a multiple-view drawing (not model) from another software program, such as SolidWorks. Basically, Overkill takes all the tiny bits of lines created by the 3D model and combines them into better line segments."

Notes from Cadalyst Tip Reviewer Brian Benton:
A former member of the Express Tools team, the Delete Duplicate command is now a native AutoCAD command. It is also available in AutoCAD LT. It will remove duplicate objects from your file. If there is a line drawn on top of another line, this command finds that and removes the extra lines. Tell AutoCAD which line to remove through the settings, using options including layer, color, and more.
