A chore that most AutoCAD users face at one time or another is having to join multiple lines, arcs, and polylines into a single polyline. Theodorus Winata has written a routine to assist with this tedious task. This command will ask you to select one item; as soon as you do so, all lines, arcs, and polylines on the layer of the selected entity are joined into a single polyline. You do not even have to press Enter after selecting the entity. Entities that share a common endpoint are joined together. Depending on how the original entities are arranged, you may end up with one or multiple polylines as a result. Start by loading the LISP file, then type in the command PJ. Select a single entity and check out the results. |
