This tip from Ronald Maneja allows you to copy objects between two points while specifying either the maximum distance or the number of evenly spaced items. This tip combines features from the Measure, Divide, and Array commands. Load the LISP file and then start the command by entering Acopy at the command line. Select the objects to be copied, and then pick two points. These points determine the distance and direction that the objects will be copied. Next, you should specify either the number of copied objects or the spacing between the copied objects. If you make a mistake, a single "U" will undo the entire command, no matter how many copied objects you created. |
