For April, Harry's picks include the following: Automatically Draw Arrowheads on Circles and Arcs — William J.Townsend — This update to tip #2123 draws single- or dual-headed directional indicators based on the radius of an existing arc or circle.
Fastener Dimension Tables — J.D. Henman — This HTML file will open in your browser to display a "Mobile Fastener Slide Rule" for both imperial and metric fasteners. Virtually every dimension you can imagine for bolts, screws, and washers is displayed. Great job, J.D.; this obviously took some time to assemble.
Auto-Draw Railroad Tracks — Don Bruce — With this routine, you can quickly draw railroad tracks based on preset rail gauge and tie spacing. The program constructs the railroad ties along a line, arc, or polyline that you select.
Zoom Extents on All Sheets — Derek Beals — Derek submitted Ze-all-sheets, which iterates each layout in the current drawing, performing a zoom extents. As a bonus, Derek has included several of his standard functions for tasks such as converting radians to degrees and rounding a real number to the next whole integer.
Xref Report — David Hammer — XREF_PATH is a routine that will generate an xref report for the current drawing. This xref report contains the current drawing name, user name, date, and a list of each xref drawing (DWG) currently attached, including unloaded xrefs. |
