Select a focus point or 3D solid object before invoking the 3DOrbit command.

CAD Administrator Andrew Werning submitted this tip to assist you while using 3DOrbit; it will allow you to select a focus point or 3D solid object before invoking the 3DOrbit command. This routine will also enable the Auto Target option, which is required for the 3DOrbitctr command to work with a focus point. Load the LISP file and start the command by entering 3DOF at the Command prompt. Once in the 3DOrbit command, you can use the Ctrl key while in the default constrained orbit mode to switch to free orbit, or just use the right-click menu to change anything about the 3DOrbit settings. If desired, you can modify this routine to restore your original view when complete. Instructions are included in the header of this file. Thanks, Andrew, for a great 3D AutoCAD tip.
