Assign a keyboard shortcut to activate and deactivate Revit views.

Tipster Andria Lynch offers a way to speed up activating views in Revit.

"Tired of right-clicking to activate and deactivate Revit views on sheets? Assign a keyboard shortcut! Ctrl+A for activate, and Ctrl+D for deactivate is easy to remember and saves tons of time."

Notes from Cadalyst tip reviewer Brian Benton: We all like shortcuts that make things easier. Whenever you can reduce the amount of work it takes to finish a task, you make your workflow more efficient. You don’t get things done more quickly by going faster — at least not effectively, and not long term. You get done more quickly by doing less work. The less you do, the quicker you finish.

Great tip. I like to use "AV" and "DV" instead of Ctrl keys. For the person who asked how, open revit and type "KS" for keyboard shortcuts. It opens a dialog box with a list of commands where you can set keyboard shortcuts any command, and you can see the predefined Revit shortcuts.
