Did you know that you can select text inside of your hatch boundary, and the hatch will create a border around this selected text automatically?

I’ve been a big proponent of using associative hatches for some time now. Did you know that you can select text inside of your hatch boundary, and the hatch will create a border around this selected text automatically? You can highlight these texts and use the nudge feature mentioned in Tip #3841, by Hayden Clarke, to move around inside the hatch, and the boundary moves with it.

Notes from Cadalyst tip reviewer R.K. McSwain: Note that if you add a new text or Mtext object on top of an existing hatch, this tip will not work until you add the text/Mtext object to the hatch using the select objects button inside of the HatchEdit command.
