Here is a tip for adding an existing spreadsheet to a 2D drawing in Inventor.

Have you ever wanted to add an Excel spreadsheet to your drawing in Inventor? Here is how to add an existing spreadsheet to a 2D drawing in Inventor.
Start or open a drawing in Inventor. Select the Annotate ribbon bar, then select General. The table dialog box will come up.

Select the Browse for file button.

Locate the Excel spreadsheet you want to add to your drawing. Pick OK on the Table dialog box.

Place the table on your drawing.

Adjust the table using the grips (activate the grips by selecting the table). You can then modify the table layout as needed.

If you want to modify the spreadsheet while in the drawing, double-click on the table.

At this point, you can modify the table columns, rows, and data.
