This method can be useful for electrical circuit drawings.

Editor's Note: This routine was updated with automatic layering in April 2012.

Jay Thomas
submitted this routine to create homerun arcs with chained polyline arrows, which are used in AutoCAD for electrical circuit drawings.

This routine includes a DCL file for a dialog box; the file must be in a location where AutoCAD can find it. This is easily accomplished by adding the folder that contains the LSP and DCL files to the AutoCAD support file search path. After you load the LISP file, run the command HR. The first time you run the command, the Options dialog will appear. Subsequent launches of the command will bypass the Options dialog, but you can access it using a keyword at the Command line. A provision for including optional text completes the command.
