Insert the Spot Coordinates block into your drawing.

Frequent tipster Leonid Nemirovsky has created a dynamic block that will display its current coordinates in AutoCAD.

"I created a very simple block that is based on fields, so it will work in AutoCAD 2006–2011 and up. Simply insert SPOTCOORD.DWG to any point and it will automatically pick up Northing/Easting/Elevation. If the location is changed, just use the Regen command. This dynamic block anchors the spot and allows the user to move the label to another location."

Notes from Cadalyst Tip Patrol: This is a great application of fields. It is easy enough to determine the coordinates of any point in AutoCAD; however, if we manually update this type of information we can make a mistake. This block does the work of finding and displaying information for us.
