Layer Isolate for Xrefs — Mat Kirkland — Mat's routine allows you to select one or more objects inside of an xref and isolate those layers by turning off all other xref layers. It doesn’t affect the layers in the main parent drawing.

Toggle Xref Fade Control — Sam Lucido — The XDWGFADECTL AutoCAD variable controls the dimming or fading of xrefs. Changing the fade value to and from a high number to "show" and "hide" the xref can be faster than unloading the drawing.

Create WMF Files Quickly — Brian Hosenfelt — This routine creates a WMF file from model space in AutoCAD. WMF files are generally better than BMP or JPG files for use in word-processing documents or presentations, and can be inserted back into AutoCAD as vector entities.

Improved Extend Command — Alan Thompson — This is a nice little routine that allows you to define a temporary line to which you can extend other entities. When you are done, the temporary line is erased.

Extended Trim Command — Alan Thompson — Similar to the one above, this routine gives more flexibility to the Trim command in AutoCAD. Essentially, it allows you to define a temporary line to which you can trim other entities.
